About the class
Candidates training to become IDTA qualified teachers must hold the IDTA Anatomy and Physiology diploma and an Intermediate Performer Award in the appropriate genre, or an equivalent qualification.
In this class, students develop their skills in choreographing for and teaching dancers of varying ages and abilities. They also learn how to edit music, as well as producing a written portfolio and studying the syllabus of their chosen genre to be able to demonstrate, teach and discuss it.
We combine a mix of online and private lessons to prepare students for their IDTA Exams and programmes of study will be tailored to the individual.
What to wear
Close-fitting, comfortable and smart dance clothing, with a variety of shoes to fit the chosen style. Hair must be neatly tied up away from the face.
